Educational Background & Experience

Hi, I’m Rachel.  I have a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Tennessee in Knoxville and a Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Richmont Graduate University in Chattanooga, TN.  I am licensed in the state of Tennessee (#1441) and have been practicing professional mental health counseling since 2014 in both office and in-home settings.  My experience includes working with adults, couples, teens, children, and families treating a variety of struggles related to trauma, loss, depression, anxiety, adoption, parenting issues, relational difficulties, abuse, life transitions, and spirituality.  I have acquired specialized training in treating traumatic stress in children and adolescents.  Currently, I am a Clinical Fellow with the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapy.
